Two lines of mouse Ehrlich ascites cancer differing in the rate of aerobic glycolysis were employed. Both lines use lactate and show oxidizing action upon cytosol NADH. The obtained results indicate the possibility that cytosol NADH reoxidation is partly independent of the mitochondrial respiratory system.
