PIP: A young patient, in perfect health, mother of 3 children, was examined for visual problems and found to be affected with bilateral retinal thrombosis. All ophthalmological examinations, and a careful medical history, associated the thrombosis with oral contraception. The published literature gives numerous instances of such cases.
