Plasma chrome concentrations tend to significantly decrease during pregnancy, pointing out the effect of pregnancy on chrome metabolism. No significant variations were found in plasma chrome values both of mother blood and foetus blood. In newborn babies, plasma chrome concentrations tend to significantly increase within the first year of age. | lld:pubmed |
