An extremely rare variant of mycosis fungoides, presenting with bullous lesions, is reported. Histopathological examination of the skin revealed subepidermal blister formation, a diffuse mononuclear infiltrate in the uppermost parts of the dermis and the characteristic intraepithelial Pautrier microabscesses. Lutzner cells were found at the ultrastructural level. The mechanism of blister formation in mycosis fungoides is outlined.
