PIP: The issue of IUD contraception in women with a bicornuate uterus is addressed and a new method is proposed in which each horn of the uterus is placed into an IUD. Either a copper-1 or a Nova-T is molded in advance in accordance with the size of each horn and then inserted. This method has been used in 4 patients and there have been no complications during the 1.5 years of use. (author's modified)
