The sonographic and computed tomographic features of liver involvement with hepatocellular carcinoma are well known. The extrahepatic manifestations of hepatocellular carcinoma are not uncommon, but have received little attention in the radiologic literature. We present a case in which intraperitoneal carcinomatosis and portal vein thrombosis were the dominant findings on sonography and computed tomography.
