Hyperthyroidism has always been the challenge for psychosomatic investigations. In traditional scientific literature the specific structure of hyperthyroid personality was pointed out. Severe and important emotional influences can induce disease in such, prone personalities. This investigation fails in featuring the specific and unique psychosomatic patterns in hyperthyroid patients.
