Cystosarcoma phylloides is an exceedingly rare breast lesion in adolescent females. The tumour contains both stromal and epithelial elements. Benign, malignant and intermediate forms have been described. Complete simple excision is adequate for therapy in all variants. An additional case treated by wide local excision is presented and treatment is discussed.
