A correlation has been shown between a strong decrease in survival of X-irradiated CHO-K1 cells cultured with 5-BudR, a strong inhibition of recovery of DNA single-strand breaks, and an essential increase in G2-delay while progressing through the cell cycle. This strong correlation may point to the involvement of repair processes into the final radiation effect on the cell.
