The case histories of three female patients are presented (two of them diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenia, one as endogenous depression in the course of involution), who manifested the delusion of AIDS disease in the psychopathological image of their primary illness. This novel content of delusional symptomatology appears in the thinking of psychiatric patients as a distorted reflexion of a new objective reality of the world, the AIDS disease, becoming recently one of the global problems of the human population.
