Several concepts and applications of behavior therapy are defined, showing how it differs from traditional psychotherapy in looking only at the stimulus and the response, without going into a detailed analysis of personality. This makes it an appropriate technique for several common problems in family practice, notably phobias, enuresis and obesity. Measurement is an important factor in behavior modification.
