During a 10-year period, 316 patients had 1084 Branemark implants placed at the same clinic. The mean age was 50.70 +/- 12.31 years, with 55% of the study population female and 45% male. KEY EXPOSURE/STUDY FACTOR: A number of exposure variables were evaluated in multivariate analyses including age, gender, smoking habit, periodontal status, implant dimension(length and diameter), and implant location.
