In optic nerve hypoplasia (ONH), the extent of functional loss of retinal ganglion cells cannot be determined by ophthalmoscopic examination. The prognostic value of visual electrodiagnostic tests in infants and toddlers with ONH was assessed by comparison with visual outcome.
