Cell transplantation is being investigated as an alternative treatment for medically refractory temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE). In this study the fate of adult-derived neurosphere cells was evaluated after transplantation in the lesioned hippocampus of the intrahippocampal kainic acid (KA) model for TLE.
