Sixty-four patients with denture problems, were treated with the staple-bone-implant, within a period of five years. The implant is indicated for patients having a severe resorbed mandibula (8-15 millimeter) to create a better stability and function with the new denture. The implant, the operative and prosthetic procedures, the methods and the results are presented. Until now a success rate of 92% can be mentioned.
