Segmentectomy for small or early stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has been controversial. Further, video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) for lung cancer was accepted during the past decade. We here compared the outcome between VATS segmentectomy and VATS lobectomy for stage I NSCLC.
