Hepatitis C virus (HCV) binds to apolipoprotein B (ApoB) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) before entering into hepatocytes. ApoB promoter polymorphisms influence the levels of ApoB and LDL in blood. We investigated the correlations between ApoB promoter polymorphism and HCV infection.
