Laugier-Hunziker syndrome is an extremely rare disorder but is of some interest to dental practitioners. The importance of the condition relates to it being included in the differential diagnosis of pigmentary disorders of the oral mucosa with associated nail involvement. Two cases of the syndrome are described.
