Propofol combined with Alfentanil was used for intracranial aneurysm surgery in 145 patients. These anaesthetic agents prevent blood pressure increase. They facilitate induced hypotension. The effect upon intracranial pressure is moderate. This technique is versatile. The speedy awakening make the postoperative neurological supervision easier.
