The aim of the study was to define the centile and standard diagrams of the relation of PEF to height in healthy children. 1047 children were selected randomly from schools of the Upper Silesian Industrial District. In all PEF was recorded 5 times using a Vitalograph Peak Flow Meter. The highest levels were always taken in account. Following statistical analysis the centile and standard diagrams were calculated. These diagrams were used practically in assessing the ventilatory status of healthy and sick children.
