Eradication of Helicobacter pylori appears to reduce gastric cancer incidence. We examined the effect of successful H pylori therapy on histology, phenotype of gastric intestinal metaplasia (GIM) (complete vs incomplete), and expression of several biomarkers related to carcinogenesis.
