Four patients had multiple histiocytomas involving the palms and soles; we describe the clinical and histologic features of their disorder. Multiple lesions of histiocytoma are rare, and their occurrence on the palms or the soles has not been reported, to our knowledge. Whorled patterns of intertwining bundles of histiocytic cells and fibers were seen predominantly and most frequently on histologic examination. No recurrences were noted during a follow-up period of up to two years after removal of the lesions. They appear to be distinct from juvenile fibromatoses and eruptive histiocytomas.
