Patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) are at an increased risk of developing colorectal cancer (CRC). The aim of this study was to investigate the outcome for the patients who underwent limited resection of the colon and/or rectum instead of panproctocolectomy (PPC), with special attention to those with neoplastic changes.
