Turning a hospital around takes hard work, determination, and guts. The winners of this year's Hospital Turn-around of the Year Contest, sponsored by Hospitals and Coopers & Lybrand, demonstrate that a successful turn-around is about much more than money, and that it can't be judged a success based solely on financial results. The management team of each winning hospital showed imagination and courage in tackling their hospitals' problems. Congratulations to this year's winners and finalists for a job well done.
