The analgetic efficacy of intraurethral instillation of anesthetic jelly in rigid cystoscopic examination for men is not clearly confirmed. This study evaluated the usefulness of intraurethral instillation of anesthetic jelly by questionnaires regarding the pain and uncomfortable feelings during and after the cystoscopic examination.
