There is some controversy on the necessity of venous reconstruction of the right paramedian sector (segments V and VIII) during right lobe living related liver transplantation. In this report we describe the evolution of posttransplant graft function in five consecutive right lobe recipients without specific drainage of the right paramedian sector.
