Well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors are treated primarily with somatostatin analogs and interferon-alpha. It is not clear what therapy should be applied after failed biotherapy. Our aim was to establish whether patients whose tumors rapidly progress under biotherapy may benefit from chemotherapy.
