Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most frequently encountered arrhythmia in the clinical setting. However, a comprehensive investigation of the molecular mechanism of AF has not been performed. The aim of this study was to clarify transcriptional profiling of genes modulated in the atrium of AF patients using DNA microarray technology.
