Heparin (hepACG) and regional citrate anticoagulation (citACG) remain the most commonly reported continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) ACG methods employed. No prospective multi-centre published data exist that compare different ACG methods with respect to CRRT filter life span or patient complications.
