Memory and dementia are often topics of educational activities, however there is only limited information about the effectiveness of this education. In this study the effectiveness of a lecture, as part of a series of lectures about dementia, has been evaluated. The results showed an improvement in knowledge after the lecture and the participants were satisfied afterwards. Finally, it showed that there is a need for this kind of education; for professionals and for people who were worried about their memory or their partners' memory.
