Self-poisoning occurs with over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, particularly paracetamol (acetaminophen). In 1998, OTC pack sizes of paracetamol were reduced. We have studied the effect of this pack size restriction on OTC supply of paracetamol, aspirin and ibuprofen.
