Antimetabolite-based continuation therapy is commonly used for childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and hypoglycemia after prolonged fasting has been recently reported. We have found that spontaneous, symptomatic hypoglycemia (SH) may also occur in such patients.
