Recently, lymphatic mapping (LM) of the sentinel lymph node (SN) has been coupled with ultrastaging methods to diagnose nodal micrometastases from colorectal cancer (CRC). We have developed a technique for LM at the time of laparoscopic colon resection (LCR).
