Cardiac troponin I is a highly sensitive and specific marker for early detection of myocardial injury. Whether it can be used to monitor myocardial injury after coronary intervention is uncertain. This study was designed to measure the cardiac troponin I and creatine kinase (CK) after coronary intervention and investigate their clinical significance.
