Power Doppler is a new imaging method for detecting microbubbles during myocardial contrast echocardiography (MCE) based on the registration of variance resulting from ultrasound-induced nonlinear bubble behavior. We tested the hypothesis that power Doppler imaging can be used to quantify coronary stenoses.
