The objective of this multicentre, randomized, prospective and comparative study was to evaluate and compare the efficacy and safety of 1 g intravenous ceftriaxone (active ingredient of Rocephin), 3 g intravenous cefoiaxime (active ingredient of clafron), and 2.25 g intavenous cefuroxime (active ingredient of Zinacef).
