Hypopituitarism occurring in patients with pituitary macroadenoma may be reversible after pituitary microsurgery, and surgery itself can lead to hypopituitarism. This study was undertaken to evaluate target gland function prospectively in patients of non-Cushing's pituitary macroadenoma undergoing trans-sphenoidal microsurgery.
