Oxaliplatin is a novel cytotoxic agent with documented activity in colorectal cancer. Side effects are generally moderate, and include peripheral neuropathy along with mild bone marrow suppression and gastrointestinal side effects. To our knowledge, induction of febrile episodes by this agents has not been described in the literature.
