Voice disturbances are analyzed in 105 patients with thyroid pathology. The clinical picture, diagnosis and treatment features are described in changes of the vocal apparatus due to thyroid dysfunction. A combined procedure of diagnosis and treatment rehabilitates most patients for their working vocal loads. Emphasis is laid on that patients should be managed jointly with the endocrinologist, which allows the voice to be stabilized by correcting the balance of thyroid hormones.
