According to the studies (1,2) on the stimulating activity of the immune defense of animals (mice, cats) treated with low doses by oral route of natural Interferon alpha, the activity of the product in human for labialis and genitalis herpetic infection in a simple blind study has been evaluated. The study has been performed on 40 patients (21 F and 19 M) aged between 18 and 62 years old, with dosage of 150 I.U. twice/thrice a day for 10 days. In the subjects treated we had a fast resolution, with statistical significativity of herpetic manifestations and associated symptoms.
