Recently, specific immunonutrients were found to increase experimental allograft survival when combined with cyclosporine A (CsA). This study compared the effect on rat cardiac allograft survival when nutritional immunomodulation was used with CsA, rapamycin (Rapa), or tacrolimus (FK506).
