Trials have demonstrated decreased relapse with perioperative methotrexate, vinblastine, doxorubicin and cisplatin (M-VAC) chemotherapy in patients with muscle invasive bladder cancer. We evaluated whether the benefit of chemotherapy correlates with its effects on distant or pelvic relapse.
