Many patients who seek facial CO2 laser resurfacing for improvement of photodamage are also concerned with "dark circles" under their eyes (periorbital hyperpigmentation) and/or telangiectasia as well as various types of deep scars on their faces. CO2 laser resurfacing alone provides limited improvement for these problems.
