Medical treatment of multiple drug resistant (MDR) pulmonary tuberculosis is generally quite unsuccessful. Recently, surgical management is increasing and shows promise. We analyzed our experience to identify the benefits and complications of pulmonary resection in MDR pulmonary tuberculosis.
