The Information Technology column in last quarter's issue provided an overview of continuing professional education options. The experience of a Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America member as a student in one of the previously described distance-education degree programs is related in this column. The Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, distance learning Masters of Public Health program provided a means for advancing this member's education that otherwise would not have been practical.
