As vice-president of human resources for Tampa-based Florida Steel Corp., James Hogue was particularly well suited to chair the search committee of the University Community Hospital board of directors when the previous administrator resigned. University Community Hospital, a 375-bed not-for-profit community hospital in Tampa, completed its search recently, and Trustee managing editor Karen Gardner talked with Hogue about the experience.
