Ubiquitination of p105 by BTRC.1) BTRC associates physically with phosphorylated p105 strongly support the notion that signaling plays an important role in p105 processing/degradation that results in enhanced transcription.2) When substituted serine residues 922, 924 and 933 with alanine in p105,the ability of BTRC to catalyze conjugation is abolished, strongly suggesting that these residues are targeted by the kinase.
