FUNCTION: Associates with Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein complexes; the complex class is required to maintain the transcriptionally repressive state of some genes (By similarity). SUBUNIT: Associates with a PRC1-like complex (By similarity). Interacts with the SAM domain of PHC1 via its SAM domain in vitro. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Nucleus (Probable).
