CSP: experimental animal model of epilepsy in which a subconvulsive electrical stimulus is repeatedly applied to limbic or other brain structures, eventually producing a heightened susceptibility to generalized seizures.,MSH: The repeated weak excitation of brain structures, that progressively increases sensitivity to the same stimulation. Over time, this can lower the threshold required to trigger seizures.
