AOT: States that there is an association between the superior and inferior vertebrae, which are paired two by two. The cervical and superior thoracic biomechanics acts in a synchronous manner with the lumbar and inferior thoracic biomechanics. For example, if C1 is in right posterior positional lesion, L5 also moves into a right posterior position. In this case, L5 is the "Lovett partner" of C1.
